ALBERTO LÓPEZ-RODÓ

Barcelona, 26 March 1962 Law degree from the University of Barcelona in 1986. Practising lawyer and member of the Barcelona Bar Association. Member of the IBA – International Bar Association. Lecturer of the International Business Management – MBA La Salle Master’s degree programme. Ramon Llull University. Member of the Tax and Financial Law Section of the Barcelona Bar Association’s Culture Commission.

Professional experience

Alberto López-Rodó Maresch has proven experience in the area of corporate legal counsel and has previously worked at Ernst & Young, Gómez Acebo & Pombo, Jausas Fieldfisher, and UHY Fay & Co. prior to becoming the founding partner of LÓPEZ-RODÓ ABOGADOS & CONSULTORES in 2015. As a partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance department, he has extensive experience in corporate operations such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project financing and trade operations in the international market. His area of practise includes processes involving negotiation in acquisition operations and/or project financing, contracts and conflict resolution among shareholders, among others.
